Roman Time

It has been so much fun to spend time with Roman!
These are just a few of the things that we have been doing....

Our little science project:
We took the top off of the pumpkin
filled it with potting soil
and hoped for the best!
The result... PUMPKIN PLANTS!

Decorating Halloween cookies with daddy
Roman did a terrific job!

Nicole... 2 weeks after giving birth to twins.
She is REMARKABLE!

Roman and Grandpa making a splash!
Grandma LOVES the weather in Houston!

Roman and Grandma spent a day at the Houston Zoo!
We had a great time checking out all of the animals.

The Babies Come Home

We were so excited to be able to bring the babies home as soon as Nicole was able to leave the hospital! Almost unheard of for preemie twins, but these girls are remarkably strong!

Sharing a little bit of 'Sister time'!

Grandma and Grandpa's 3 most treasured possessions

Gramps is in control! And boy does Rome look good in a BYU shirt!
(Against daddy's wishes!)

Aunt Chelsea was able to fly down and spend a week bonding with the babies.
It was hard for her to leave!

Beautiful Smiles on our girls

Roman is a great 'BIG BROTHER'!

The girl's fancy new wheels!

I Think I'm Seeing Double!

Mama loving her babies
Nicole with her three 'babies'. She is such a great mommy!
OnSeptember 27, 2012... our lives were changed forever! Zahra Corrine and Sienna Claire made their entrance into the world... and into our hearts! Two perfect, and very tiny babies. Zahra weighing 4 lbs. 13 oz. and Sienna weighing 5 lbs 3 oz. They are the identical twin girls of our daughter Nicole and our son in law Zach. Two little sisters for our favorite boy Roman!

Perhaps a future in medicine?

Nicole ended up having a C-section, and so they stayed in the hospital for 4 days. The babies were great though, and were able to come home when she did!
