Phil's Family Reunion

This was the weekend of the 'Sweat' Reunion. Phil's mom's family.
It was our year to plan the reunion, and we chose to hold it at the
Kohler Farm in Midway.
They have a great facility, complete with an enclosed shelter... which we needed!
Beautiful views, room to camp... and a working dairy farm!
That of course means: FRESH AIR... dairy style!
Living in Midway, we are used to it!

We of course had and auction... and Raffle. This is the quilt that we raffled off,
I made it... and then almost kept it!
Aunt Nelda won the quilt though, and we were all thrilled for her.
Nelda is 90 years old, and has always been the peace maker of her family.
She was so thrilled with her prize, that she had tears in her eyes.
No one could have deserved it as much as her. She is the oldest living child.

Saturday afternoon we had a 'Mexican Fiesta'
Complete with a pinata!
The kids had a great time, and Phil only came 'close' to being hit!

We kept Chelsea and Sky busy working! Here they were on clean up duty!
Family reunions are always complete with a lot of work!

Our auction items were a lot of fun! You had to be quick however...
or someone would bid you up!
Of course there was TONS of food!
Friday night we had a Dutch oven cook off,
Saturday morning: Dave, Roger, Phil and Nile made breakfast for the crew.

We had a jump house for the kids... but these look like BIG kids.

Phil and Nelda share a dance! We love to see her smile.

Julie... probably collecting money!

Chelsea and Sky... Kitchen help!
We couldn't have done it without them.

THE BIG DAY!

WE DID IT!

Trent graduated from Wasatch High School
on May 29th! The good news is... we all survived the stress
and Mom never has to keep track of Power School again!

This is the same high school that his dad graduated from...
in 1977!

Mr Melon was Trent's art teacher all through high school...
they may not have seen eye to eye every day,
but he was a great mentor for Trent!
The family came to support Trent.
Grandma Alta, Grandma and Grandpa Gossett, Chelsea and Sky

Opening the gifts!

We finished up the day at one of our favorite Mexican Restaurants!
Congratulations Trent!
