Our Trip to Houston

We spent a day in Kemah, Roman loved the Rides!
He could ride them all day long for free.

Nicole is such a cute mom!
Roman is always happy just to be out! He is also quite a 'ham' for the camera!

Zach and Nicole had an event one evening at the Law School, so Mamma and Poppa got to
baby sit! We had a fun time at the park!
Roman loved the statues... this was the Grandma and Grandpa statue. He was holding their hands... So precious!
Any little sit spot makes for a great photo op! Roman keeps his eyes open for them!
Grandpa was giving him 'underdogs' and Roman was loving it!

Roman and Grandpa take a break
Grandma and Grandpa on stroller duty...
We were in Heaven!
Nicole took us on a great walk down the bayou.
It goes all the way down town.
Nicole and Roman take a ride
Roman is taking Grandma flying!
We were able to attend a Houston Astro's game
They won in 'extra innings'... not to be confused with overtime!
we went to the battle ship...
The Space center
We were able to spend some time in Galveston with Phil's Nephew Brad, his wife Diane and their daughter Autumn.

Grandpa and Roman playing in 'Space'!
A windy day at the beach...
Is still a day at the beach!
Roman is the king of the Big Gulp!
Roman learned a new word this week...
School Bus!
He loved watching them on the freeway... so when we found a little one...
You know, he had to have it!
He loved playing cars with Grandpa!
We told him that this was his
"Go Cougars" Shirt!

What a fun trip!
We will miss being with this little guy very much!
But apparently we will being going back in May,
Tyler and his wife Lindy will be moving close to Corpus Christi
to work for Verizon. We are not sure what has happened to draw our kids to Texas!
Chelsea will be spending the summer in Rome for study abroad
Trent will be graduating...
Do I hear an empty nest???
